With one of the largest corporate event inventories in the country, we were able to put together an all-inclusive event package that took care of all the interactive entertainment, outdoor seating, and equipment necessary to create a memorable day for the employees and their families. For 300 employees and their families from the County of San Bernardino, field games at Big League Dreams became the centerpiece of the day. Coworkers who normally sit rows apart at their desks were suddenly on the same team, racing the clock, cheering each other on, competing under our Xtreme Competition Zone backdrop for a shot at the prize tables. A professional game leader kept the energy up for a full 3 hours, calling out challenges over surround sound while families lined up for their turn. By the end, the line between "who works together" and "who's friends" had blurred a little — which is exactly the point. The setup included:

Water Field Games Fit for a Warm Spring Staff Picnic

Our experienced hosts know exactly which field games to run based on the group's age, the season, and the venue. This picnic happened in spring, but with the Pomona Valley heat, it played more like a summer event — so our host built in water games to keep guests cool between rounds.

The Ninja Rush obstacle course was chosen for its wow factor — tall, bright, and impossible to miss the moment guests walked onto the field. Two people raced head-to-head at a time, climbing up before racing down the slide to the finish, giving the crowd something exciting to watch while they waited their turn. With hundreds of employees and their families at this picnic, we needed attractions that could move a lot of people through quickly, and Ninja Rush's fast, competitive format kept the line moving without losing any of the excitement.

Four Players, One Wrecking Ball, San Bernardino County Bragging Rights

Timberland Wrecking Ball pulled a crowd the moment guests spotted it. Four coworkers at a time climbed up to their pedestals, swinging the ball at each other while everyone else waited their turn to jump in. It's the kind of game where watching is almost as fun as playing — friends egging each other on, laughing every time someone got knocked off their perch.

Quarterback, Pitcher, or Striker: The 3-in-1 Sports Trio

The 3-in-1 Sports Trio brought a carnival midway feel to the field — guests walked up already knowing what to do, whether they picked quarterback toss, fastpitch baseball, or penalty kick soccer. Three sports in one setup meant more people could jump in at once, and the built-in competition kept a steady rotation of players testing their arm or their aim against whoever showed up next. It's a piece we bring to company picnics often, and it was an easy fit for this one too.

​By late April, Chino Hills was already warming up, so a water slide was a natural addition to the lineup. The Surf City Water Slide gave guests a way to cool off between rounds of field games, and Big League Dreams had enough open picnic space to fit it comfortably alongside everything else. Making sure there's something for every guest, no matter the season, is part of how we plan a picnic like this.

This social games area gave guests a relaxed, socially dynamic space to connect — playing jumbo Jenga, cornhole, ping pong, or foosball with coworkers and family at their own pace. It made room for introverts and extroverts alike, giving every guest a way to unwind and connect outside of the competition zone.

Jumbo Jenga added a shared suspense to the space — every pull risked sending the whole tower down, pulling in bystanders who wanted to see how far the group could push it.

We like to incorporate different table games, like Foosball, throughout the picnic so there's never a dull moment. Guests see a Foosball table, ping pong, or another game like this and immediately flock toward it to play with a parent, child, or coworker. It's part of how we spread entertainment across the whole event — something to do at every turn.

​Kids and adults played a real match on the indoor turf, teammates cheering from the sideline while the ball moved end to end. Guests got a full game of soccer in in the middle of a company picnic, right there at Big League Dreams.

Outdoor Seating Designed for Social Engagement

We provided the outdoor seating for this staff picnic, built around 60-inch round tables that seat eight. Round tables mean everyone at the table faces each other, which does more for social engagement than a long banquet-style setup ever could. Each table came with a 9-foot market umbrella for shade, important with temperatures already climbing into May. Tables were placed strategically throughout the venue so that guests eating or just sitting down could still see the field games, watch the water slide in the background, or catch a game in progress — never fully removed from the picnic, even while seated.
