With 900 attendees, this was a true all-inclusive company picnic designed to keep guests moving, engaged, and comfortable throughout the day. The event included full food and beverage service, team building field games, inflatables for kids, sports games for adults, hands-on arts and crafts activities, and a dedicated photo booth—all wrapped in layered fall décor that brought the harvest theme to life. Hay bales, pumpkins, and seasonal accents framed the space, while fun fall food stations added to the overall experience. Hosted during a beautiful November day in South El Monte, the layout allowed families and coworkers to spread out across multiple event zones without losing energy or connection. It was a well-earned day of employee appreciation delivered through thoughtful planning, strong execution, and a setting that matched the season perfectly. The Meadows Picnic Area at Whittier Narrows Recreation Area in South El Monte set the stage for a 175-person staff picnic that blended catering, team building games, and family-friendly extras into one seamless package. Tables were set, food was hot, games were ready, and shade was waiting. We know this park — and this picnic area — inside and out, which meant every piece was placed with purpose: maximizing connection, keeping flow seamless between activities, and letting the Field Games take center stage. The built-in tables gave us a base, and we added extra rounds, linens, and umbrellas to create a layout that worked for both families and larger groups. This picnic was built as a complete package: catering that served everyone, entertainment that kept guests engaged without high liability, and logistics handled start to finish. Once Fontaine Weatherproofing & Roof Repair handed us the job, their team didn’t have to lift a finger. When Grupo Chilero (Chef Merito Seasonings) asked us to produce their first-ever company picnic for 350 employees and their families, we delivered a full-service experience that brought together great food, interactive entertainment, and thoughtful planning. Hosted at Whittier Narrows Recreation Area, this event had everything: smoked tri-tip and grilled BBQ chicken served fresh on-site, a high-energy field day games zone, inflatable attractions for kids and adults, and plenty of shaded seating to keep guests comfortable all day long. As a primarily Spanish-speaking team of culinary professionals, this crowd knows flavor — so when they raved about the catering, we knew we hit the mark. Every year, we have the privilege of handling company picnic and health fair planning at Whittier Narrows in South El Monte for the Local SEIU 721, welcoming 1,250 union members and their families. We provide everything from delicious on-site catering to a wide range of entertainment, including inflatables, carnival games, and a fun zone for all ages. Additionally, we organize a health fair vendor area, creating a welcoming space for members to engage with health and wellness providers. It’s an event we look forward to every year, ensuring a fun and meaningful experience for everyone. On November 11, 2023, we planned a full-scale Company Picnic and Health Fair for SEIU 721 at Whittier Narrows Recreational Area – The Meadows in South El Monte, California, drawing in 2,200 union members and their families. This custom, all-inclusive event combined company picnic planning and health fair planning into one cohesive experience—right in the heart of Los Angeles County. Our team handled everything on the ground: from food and logistics to entertainment and health fair support. With our in-house catering team preparing fresh food onsite, and every zone, booth, table, chair, and sign coming from our own inventory, we delivered a streamlined, professionally executed day designed for engagement, education, and fun.
