2024 FIDM Los Angeles Graduation Event Planning at Grand Hope Park for 400 Students

We have been the official event planner for the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising's graduation party for the last 20 years. We provide comprehensive event planning services, utilizing our own in-house inventory and team of experienced entertainers. This includes event entertainment, games, competition stations, beverage stations, tables, stages, photo op areas, and satellite sound. College Graduation Event Planning in Los Angeles at Grand Hope Park

The FIDM graduation takes place at Grand Hope Park in Los Angeles, directly adjacent to the school, making it the ideal location for the celebration activities. Our event team created a strategic layout that ensured a smooth flow of foot traffic, with everything within visibility, keeping everyone in the action at all times, whether they are socializing at the bistro tables or playing cornhole in the corner. We designed a grad party space that is vibrant with engagement, entertainment, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Upon arrival, the students checked in at the registration table and given their wristbands for entry and a goodie bag full of FIDM merch.

Interactive Social Lounge of Games for Adults

​Our Interactive Social Lounge is packed with table games, yard games, arcades, and billiards, creating an engaging and entertaining atmosphere. This quieter space, set apart from the larger activities, allows small groups of two or three to interact away from the hustle and bustle of attractions like the MEGA Casino, Surfing Simulator, and Lagoon of Doom.

This exclusive attraction, conceived right here at Interact Event Productions, has consistently delivered unparalleled adult-focused entertainment. Exciting Trivia, Prize Giveaways, and Our Dynamic DJ Host, Tim Ward

​Meet Tim Ward, our charismatic MC, DJ, and Event Host. With his innate ability to foster social connections, he curates a socially-dynamic atmosphere that's high-energy and exhilarating, thanks to his explosive personality and witty humor. Alongside engaging trivia and exciting prize giveaways, college grads not only create lasting memories but also take home tangible keepsakes of the unforgettable experience.

The Lagoon of Doom Log Rolling Challenge

Our Lagoon of Doom Log Rolling competition challenges participants to balance on a large rolling log in the center of an inflatable lagoon, with dangerous predators like alligators and piranhas lurking below. The game can be played solo or with two competitors to see who can stay on the log the longest.

College Grads riding the waves in our Surfing Simulator

​This was the Robo Surfer competition, a mechanical surfing challenge that offered participants the chance to ride the waves on their college grad night. The prominent inflatable wave was unmissable—a beloved attraction for capturing friends' rides, shared widely on social media, and creating cherished memories with friends that would last a lifetime.

An AXE-Citing Activity for College-Age People!

This is our Lumberjack Axe Throw, a safe and interactive way to enjoy an old-fashioned axe throwing competition at a college graduation event. It's a favorite among young adults at all the college events we plan, combining physical challenge, skill development, and the thrill of competition in a unique and social environment.

Satellite Beverage Stations Strategically Position Throughout the Venue Space

We positioned our cold beverage stations throughout the venue, offering freshly squeezed lemonade, sweet tea, and filtered water. Each station is housed in a custom service booth, complete with matching table covers and clear signage to effortlessly guide guests.
