We had the pleasure of planning a company picnic for the County of San Bernardino at Glen Helen Regional Park, welcoming over 6,500 attendees for one of the biggest events we've done. Team building field games anchored the day, backed by a full lineup of rides and attractions, passive entertainment with table games and yard games for guests looking to unwind, and beverage stations to keep everyone cool. Every part of the day was planned to keep 6,500 people moving, connected, and comfortable across Glen Helen's open spaces.

The field games were the heart of this company picnic. They brought friendly, competitive fun, with employees and their families playing for prizes and participation running high — people were out of their seats and onto the field. The games moved in quick rounds, so guests could jump in and out without feeling like they had to stay very long if they didn't want to. We played about 25-30 games in 3 hours, all different, all chosen based on the age and demographics of the group. We threw in water field games to keep it cool considering the June weather in San Bernardino. Our professional, energetic, comedic host kept the energy up and the crowd moving, turning what could have been a quiet afternoon into the perfect team building, morale-boosting entertainment. Coworkers who might never cross paths at the office became teammates, and strangers turned into friends.

​We chose attractions that gave every kind of guest a challenge to try. Climbers took on the Climb N Dangle Rockwall, while the Ninja Warrior Jump had guests launching themselves across the gap for a leap of pure adrenaline.The Wild One Roller Coaster Obstacle Course had people scaling walls and crawling through tunnels on their way to the finish, and the Timberland Wrecking Ball put balance to the test as guests tried to knock each other off their pedestals. For guests who wanted a physical strength challenge, Hungry Hungry Hippos and the Reaction Attraction Arena tested reflexes and agility, while the Quick-X-Scape, a 10x10 escape room, gave guests a critical thinking challenge instead of a physical one.

Coworkers Went Head-to-Head in the Sports Zone

The sports zone gave athletic guests plenty to compete over. The 3-in-1 Sports Trio combined three sports into one setup, offering higher throughput and something for every sports fan to play. Dual Lane Skeeball gave two guests their own lane for a familiar, competitive round, while the Dual Basketball Challenge had players shooting side by side at multiple hoops, each worth different point values — whoever scored the most points won. The Soccer Penalty Kick tested aim against the goal, the Lumberjack Axe Throw gave guests their own shot at hitting the bullseye, and Human Foosball turned coworkers into the game pieces for a fast round of teamwork and coordination.

Kids Inflatables for Ages 2 to 8

​The youngest guests had their own space to play, sized right for ages 2 to 8. The Boombox Bouncer House gave little ones a straightforward, high-energy bounce with a beat, while the Emerald Cave Play Center added climbing and crawling for kids who wanted more to explore. The Princess Playcenter rounded out the lineup with a softer, imaginative option for kids who wanted to play pretend rather than bounce or climb.

Table and Yard Games for a Laid-Back Pace

​This area gave both introverts and extroverts a place to fit in. Cornhole and Jumbo Jenga offered a casual game guests could pick up without needing instructions, while ping pong and foosball gave coworkers and family a bit more back-and-forth competition. This corner of the picnic stayed relaxed, giving guests a place to rest between rounds of the bigger attractions.

Cold ​Beverage Stations to Beat the June Heat

With June temperatures already climbing in San Bernardino, staying hydrated mattered. Our beverage stations kept lemonade, iced tea, and filtered water flowing all day, with plenty of ice and cups on hand so guests never had to wait long for a refill. Each station sat under a 10x10 tent branded "Beverages," so guests could spot them easily from anywhere on the field.

Fun Food Booths Filled With Sweet and Salty Snacks

Between rounds of field games and time in line for the big attractions, guests needed something to keep them going. Our Fun Food booths served popcorn for a salty snack, plus shaved ice in assorted flavors and spun cotton candy for guests craving something sweet. It was an easy way to refuel without ever having to leave the fun.
