For AltaMed’s Health Fair at 1300 W. 3rd St. in downtown Los Angeles, we provided comprehensive event planning and execution, transforming a parking lot into a vibrant event space with state-of-the-art equipment, entertainment, and onsite catering. From custom signage, trussing and sound systems to interactive kid-friendly entertainment and a health-focused catering spread, every detail was handled in-house to ensure a memorable and impactful day for attendees. Our all-inclusive health fair event package provided a true "more bang for the buck" experience, giving AltaMed exactly what they needed to make their health fair stand out.

​One of the first things guests saw were our custom-built 4'x12' two-sided marquee signs, mounted on durable trussing for high visibility. Our team provided trussing installation and placement for directional signage, booth markers, and branded messaging that guided attendees from the parking lot into the ballroom. ​Transforming the Parking Lot Into a Health Fair Hub in Downtown Los Angeles

​Outside, we converted the parking lot into a fully functioning health fair. Our zoned sound system included XLR cables to satellite speaker clusters with wireless mic access across multiple areas, including the ballroom. A family-friendly ambient music mix helped create an inviting vibe that carried throughout the space without overwhelming the crowd. Clear audio permeation across both indoor and outdoor areas meant that whether you were chatting with a vendor or enjoying entertainment outside, the experience felt cohesive and well-managed.

Health Fair Stage Setup for TED Talk-Style Presentation with Scenic Backdrop

​AltaMed wanted a space that felt inspirational and professional—so we delivered a TED Talk-style presentation stage with an unforgettable backdrop. Set under a 20x40 tent facing the Los Angeles hills, we installed a carpeted platform stage, arranged rows of folding chairs, and provided AV and sound equipment, including wireless mics and crystal-clear audio playback. This setup made it easy for keynote speakers to deliver meaningful presentations in a visually striking and fully supported environment—yet another benefit of full-service event planning.

Outdoor Health Fair Entertainment and Activities for All Ages

To engage families, we brought in our Rocky Island Mountain Climb and the Rocky Island Bouncer & Slide Combo—interactive attractions that encouraged healthy play for kids and even the young-at-heart. Branded Event Seating: Tables, Chairs, and Umbrellas for Comfort and Style

​We provided all the seating and dining infrastructure onsite, including 60" round tables, folding chairs, and market umbrellas — all coordinated to match AltaMed’s branding. Tables were covered in vibrant purple linens that reflected their brand colors and unified the entire event aesthetic. These shaded seating areas were placed throughout the parking lot, giving guests a comfortable place to sit, eat, and recharge between activities.

We want to understand your entertainment preferences for this event. We'll offer our suggestions based on the number of attendees, their ages, and demographics, all while keeping your budget in mind.
    Themes play a key role in customizing your event experience. They not only shape the entertainment options but also influence the menu selection to create a cohesive atmosphere. Take, for example, a country western theme. Guests can expect immersive entertainment reminiscent of the old west, complemented by a mouthwatering selection of BBQ dishes. It's all about setting the right vibe for a memorable gathering.
    We have an in-house catering team offering over 100 menu items to choose from, ranging from mouth-watering BBQ to Carnival Fun Foods. Our catering prices are all-inclusive, providing a per-head price that covers everything from service tents and signs to flagging and servers.
