Company Picnic Planning at Big League Dreams in Chino Hills Southern California Credit Union 202210/16/2022 A Fall Company Picnic with Field Games, Interactive Entertainment & the New Harvest Fun Fact Scavenger Hunt MazeWe planned and produced this 500-person fall company picnic for Southern California Credit Union at Big League Dreams in Chino Hills, California. The venue gave us room to create a full picnic experience across the ballpark, with team building field games, interactive attractions, a social lounge, outdoor seating, and our Harvest Fun Fact Scavenger Hunt Maze worked into the entertainment mix. Employees and families had places to compete, relax, play, watch, and move through the event at their own pace, with our team handling the planning, layout, staffing, and entertainment from start to finish. A Fall Company Picnic That Filled the Ballpark with Competition, Social Interaction, and Family EntertainmentWe used the Big League Dreams ballpark setting to spread the entertainment across the venue in a way that made sense for a 500-person company picnic. Southern California Credit Union employees and families had different areas to move through during the event, from hosted field games and prize challenges to sports attractions, inflatables, table games, and the Harvest Fun Fact Scavenger Hunt Maze. Our team building field games brought employees into hosted team challenges with a game leader, prize tables, sound, and organized activities designed for the group. Around the venue, families moved between the Roller Coaster Slide, Rocky Island Obstacle Course, Hoop Shot Duo, 3-in-1 Sports Trio, Skeeball, Ring Toss, and the fall-themed maze, while the passive entertainment area gave adults and older guests a more relaxed place to play games and spend time together. For a company picnic this size, the value came from how the entertainment was placed, staffed, and matched to the crowd. Kids, adults, families, and employees all had areas that fit them, and SCCU had one experienced team managing the entertainment, guest flow, activities, seating, and event production from start to finish. Team Building Field Games, Prizes, and Friendly Competition at the Center of the PicnicOur Deluxe Field Games packages are THE GREATEST in the industry because they do what company picnics are supposed to do: get employees competing, laughing, cheering, winning prizes, and spending time together outside the normal workday bonding. For this Southern California Credit Union picnic, our Deluxe Field Games package included a professional game leader, surround sound, prize redemption tables, and field games selected for the age range and demographics of the group. With 100+ field games to choose from, our game leaders selected the right mix throughout the event based on the age range, demographics, energy level, and who was participating. The result was a competition zone that kept the team-building, prize-winning, morale-boosting energy at the center of the company picnic. The New Harvest Fun Fact Scavenger Hunt Maze Made the Picnic Feel Like OctoberThis was one of the first company picnics to feature our new Harvest Fun Fact Scavenger Hunt Maze, and it gave the ballpark a strong fall-season feature right away. The 175' inflatable maze felt like a corn maze mixed with an educational scavenger hunt, giving employees and families a themed attraction that fit the October picnic date. Guests walked through the maze with scavenger hunt cards, looking for harvest-themed clues and fun facts hidden inside. Kids and parents worked through the questions together, making the attraction feel more involved than a quick walk-through and more memorable than a standard fall decoration. Interactive Social Lounge Games for Relaxed Company Picnic EntertainmentThe Interactive Social Lounge gave guests a lower-key place to play, talk, and compete between the field games, inflatables, sports attractions, and larger picnic activities. It worked well for coworkers, families, and adults who wanted social interaction at a more casual pace. Featured games included: This area added another layer to the company picnic because it gave guests a place to stay connected through quick games, casual competition, and conversation. It helped the event feel more complete without making every activity loud, physical, or high-energy. The Ballpark Layout Kept Families, Games, and Seating ConnectedOne of the advantages of using Big League Dreams for a company picnic like this was the amount of room we had to spread the entertainment, seating, and activity areas throughout the ballpark without separating guests from the event itself. Families could sit under the umbrellas, watch the games, keep an eye on the kids, and still feel connected to everything happening around them. The seating areas were worked directly into the entertainment layout so guests stayed part of the picnic whether they were competing in field games, relaxing between activities, watching coworkers play, or walking between attractions across the venue.
