Community Event Organizer for the Corona 4th of July Festival at Santana Regional Park

Every year, the City of Corona hosts a 4th of July community event to serve as a way to celebrate the nation's history, strengthen community bonds, and provide a space for people to come together and fellowship with one another. This large event is held at Santana Regional Park in Corona, California.  This park boasts a large, open green field where we spread out the entertainment.

Pay-And-Play Community EventS

This community event had tons of rides, attractions, carnival games and food vendors set up that the community can enjoy.  We used our punch card ticket system for the different pay-and-play rides and attractions.  Punch cards for the rides & food vendors could be purchased in various dollar increments and used for the rides and attractions at the event. ​

Carnival Games & Wooden Booth Rentals

We have traditional wood carnival booths with 1-2 games per booth.  Each booth was decked out with plushy prizes hanging from the top for the winners.

One of the ways that a community parks & recreations department can save money in their budget is to charge the community for the different attractions at the event.  What we do is organize the community entire event, use our punch card system, our rides, our prize redemption booths and our rentals and then offer a discounted price for everything in exchange for a percentage of the punch card sales at the end of the night.  This saves money upfront and puts more money back in the budget after the event.

This is our sports midway zone where we set up different sports games and activities that were also available for pay-and-play use.

Everything at this event was available on a pay-and-play basis, punch cards are purchased at the prize redemption booths and used to play the different activities at the event.  These are the inflatable bounce houses, playcenters, slides and obstacle courses that were there at this community event.

Commercial Food Vendor Tent Rentals

For the different food vendors at the event, we set up these 10 x 10 food service tents, each with their own custom sign with the food available.  The food was available for purchase using the punch card system as well, so that all the money was coming into one location for the event.
