Year after year, we take great pride in being chosen as the exclusive event entertainment and rental providers for the Santa Monica Community Purim Carnival in Santa Monica, California. This year was particularly exciting as we introduced two new attractions from our very own vault: our portable Intergalactic Library Escape Room and our portable Virtual Reality Theatre! These attractions were an overwhelming success at this beloved community carnival in Santa Monica, come see what else was there! Santa Monica Community Purim CarnivalThis community carnival event starts in the parking lot of the Santa Monica Synagogue located at 1448 18th Street in Santa Monica California. The streets are closed between Santa Monica Blvd and Broadway allowing for the street to fill with lots of our fun rides, games and activities. The Santa Monica Synagogue Purim Carnival took place from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. In addition to the fun activities and attractions we also provided all the event rentals, like the stage, audio support, tents, tables and other essentials to make this event possible  Purim is a festive Jewish holiday celebrated annually, usually in late February or early March like this one, to commemorate the salvation of the Jewish people from a plot to annihilate them in ancient Persia, as described in the Book of Esther. It is a joyful holiday marked by the reading of the Megillah (the Book of Esther), wearing costumes, giving gifts of food (mishloach manot) to friends and family, and charity to those in need (matanot l'evyonim). Purim Carnivals are community events that take place in synagogues or Jewish community centers. This is a family-friendly celebration featuring various activities, games, and Jewish foods. There are always children in costumes that are themed to time period of Esther. The money that is raised at this event from the different activities goes to charity, Purim events emphasize the importance of giving to those in need, aligning with the holiday's charitable aspects. Traditional Purim foods like hamantaschen (triangular pastries filled with sweet fillings) and other snacks are available for purchase in the vendor tents. This Purim Carnival is a great opportunity for the local Jewish community in Santa Monica to come together and celebrate their heritage and culture. A Premier Portable Escape Room ExperienceThe MEGA Escape Challenge is our own exclusive portable, inflatable escape room experience. Our escape room is known its themed, immersive challenging activity that draws in a crowd. It provided a unique form of entertainment that engaged participants of all ages. Our Intergalactic Library Escape Room added an exciting and intellectually stimulating element to the carnival. Covid-19 Precautions at EventThis year's Purim Carnival took on a unique aspect due to the presence of COVID-19, necessitating a range of additional precautions to ensure the event's safety. Among these measures was the inclusion of a dedicated hand sanitization station, providing attendees with a convenient location to cleanse and sanitize their hands both before and after enjoying snacks and engaging in various activities.
