Picnic Shelters & Areas

​Group picnic and group camping are available by reservation only from April 1 to November 30. There are five group camping areas, each accommodating approximately 80 people. One reservable day-use area is available, with parking for approximately 40 vehicles. Any special events need to be addressed to park reservations.

Rancho Jurupa Regional Park - Riverside

800 Crestmore Road, Riverside, CA 92509​

​Features two lakes and multiple picnic areas. There are a total of 11 shelters; the number of picnic tables beneath each varies with the size of the shelters. Shade shelters #1, #2, and #3 in the Lakeview Day Use Area no longer have electricity. Five shelters can be reserved:

• Pecan/Acorn Shelters: Located at the front entrance, each with 19 tables.
• Shelters 1 & 2: Located by the back lake, each with 6 tables.
• Shelter 3: Located by the back lake, with 9 tables.

Riverview Recreation Park - Riverside

​Riverview Recreation Park features a variety of picnic areas throughout the park. There are large open grassy areas with picnic tables, perfect for corporate picnics. The park also includes playgrounds, sports courts, and walking paths, making it a great spot for both relaxation and recreational activities.
