We had the privilege of planning a team building Social Event for the RMUC 2024 (Rent Manager User Conference), an annual gathering for property management professionals to connect and learn best practices. Our team was responsible for the social event, which took place on the evening of Tuesday, November 5th, at the Big League Dreams Ballpark in Cathedral City. This exclusive VIP team building event catered to professionals and was an integral part of the four-day conference.

Team Building Social Event for Adults at Big League Dreams in Cathedral City

For this event, we created a variety of interactive challenges, designed for adult professionals to compete in at different stations, making it a unique team-building experience. Additionally, we offered a range of social and passive entertainment in our Adult Fun Zone, where attendees could network while enjoying friendly competition through table and yard games. The atmosphere was designed to be engaging and dynamic, encouraging interaction in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.

• The layout was designed to maximize engagement and ensure everyone felt part of the action. From left to right, the setup included a 30' rock climbing wall, Jacob's Ladder, dual skeeball lanes, lumberjack axe throwing, speed pitch baseball, Batter's Up baseball, our Deluxe Field Day Game Zone, a football kicking competition, dual quarterback toss, dual basketball shootout stations, and our 3-in-1 sports trio.
• At the center, we strategically placed tables and chairs, allowing guests who were dining or socializing to stay connected to the activities around them. One end of the layout featured the buffet area, providing easy access to food, while the other end housed the Adult Fun Zone—a passive entertainment area with yard games and tables for those seeking a more relaxed atmosphere.
• Speaker clusters were positioned throughout the space for optimal audio distribution, enabling clear announcements and game commentary. The zones were configured to allow targeted communication to specific sections or the entire crowd as needed.

Delicious Catered Dining Experience at RMUC Social Event in Cathedral City

We provided a catered dinner, freshly prepared onsite by our team, along with all the necessary tables and chairs to ensure a comfortable dining and social experience. Dinner was served from 6:15 PM to 8:30 PM, with refreshment stations available throughout the evening. Our all-inclusive catering package covered every aspect of the food and beverage service, including food and beverage tents, signage, tables, and professional servers. This package made the event more cost-effective, as we managed not just the catering but every detail—entertainment, tables, chairs, surround sound, and more—using our in-house inventory of event-ready equipment.

​Guests raved about the delicious, freshly prepared dinner, which featured a variety of flavorful options crafted onsite by our skilled catering team. From the tender, smoked tri-tip and perfectly grilled BBQ chicken to the vibrant garden salads and creamy loaded mac and cheese, every dish was a hit. The buffet setup ensured a smooth and enjoyable dining experience, while the refreshing fruit salads and warm dinner rolls added the perfect finishing touches. The attention to detail and high-quality presentation left a lasting impression, making the dining experience as memorable as the event itself.

Each competitive station was carefully numbered and staffed with a dedicated game leader to guide participants, provide instructions, and create a fun, engaging atmosphere. Here are the stations in order:

• Jacob's Ladder – A rope challenge where participants tested their balance and agility to climb to the top without falling.
• Dual Skee Ball Lanes – A classic competition with two lanes for head-to-head action.
• Lumberjack Axe Throwing – A precision game of skill, aiming for the bullseye.
• Speed Pitch Baseball – A fast-paced station where participants threw their fastest pitch to test their speed and accuracy.
• Batter's Up Baseball – A fun batting game for players to hit their best shot.
• Deluxe Field Games Zone – A series of team-building challenges set up with a digitally printed stage, two prize tables, surround sound, and an experienced game leader.
• Football Kicking Competition – Featuring a real football goal, participants took their best shot to score.
• Dual Quarterback Toss (UBQB Duo) – Participants stepped into the role of quarterback, throwing the game-winning pass.
• Dual Basketball Shootout Stations – A dynamic game where different hoops offered varying points for successful shots.
• 3-in-1 Sports Trio – A versatile game station featuring baseball, soccer, and football challenges.
• Each station was designed to be competitive, exciting, and enjoyable for all participants, with prizes and bragging rights up for grabs!

Adult Zone Games

​The Adult Fun Zone provided a relaxed yet engaging atmosphere for guests seeking low-key entertainment. This area featured a variety of yard games, including cornhole and giant Jenga, as well as classic table games like air hockey, ping pong, and foosball. With plenty of seating and space for mingling, it was the perfect spot for networking or unwinding while still enjoying friendly competition in a social setting.
