We had the pleasure of planning a company picnic at Friendship Park in Avondale for Dick's Sporting Goods employees and their families. We set up the food service tents and the activities on Field 3 using Ramadas 1–4 for additional shaded seating. Our catering team fired up the grills right on the field for fresh Angus burgers, while our live emcee played music, hosted raffles, and ran field day games for the employees and their families. There was a cornhole tournament setup on the grass for employees who wanted to engage in a different type of social activity. We kept the whole picnic space secure with a private guest check-in booth at the entrance. Every detail was taken care of in this all inclusive company picnic package we created for Dick's employees and their families, giving them a relaxed afternoon, good food, great games and memories to last a lifetime.

Welcome Booth & Guest Registration for a Seamless Arrival to Friendship Park 🎟️ ​

​Our welcome booth and guest registration were strategically placed at the entrance of the event, ensuring a smooth check-in process while guiding guests effortlessly from the parking lot to the picnic area. To make navigation even easier, we set up A-frame signs with directional arrows throughout the parking lot, clearly pointing the way to the event. This setup eliminated any confusion, providing a stress-free arrival experience so guests could step right into the fun without hesitation!

Green Bracelets for Exclusive Access & Event Control ✅ ​

​Each guest received a green bracelet, which granted them access to food service and rides while clearly identifying them as part of this private company picnic at Friendship Park. This system allowed us to maintain full control over the event, ensuring that only invited guests enjoyed the meals, inflatables, and prize giveaways. By preventing outsiders from entering and taking advantage of the amenities, we kept the experience organized, secure, and enjoyable for all employees and their families.

​Our premium 100% all-beef hot dogs were served hot off the grill, nestled in a fluffy bun, and ready to be loaded up with classic condiments like ketchup, mustard, and onions. For those wanting a little extra, we offered a chili cheese option, topped with a generous helping of warm, savory chili and melted cheese for the perfect bite.

Our Secret Recipe 3-Bean BBQ Baked Beans:
Slow-cooked to perfection, our three-bean BBQ baked beans featured a flavorful mix of beans, sautéed onions, and our secret house-made BBQ sauce for a rich, smoky, and slightly sweet dish that had guests coming back for seconds.

Award-Winning Mac & Cheese with a Tangy Twist:
This isn’t your average mac & cheese. Our rich, creamy mac & cheese was topped with crispy French onions for the perfect crunch and drizzled with our signature BBQ sauce for a sweet and tangy kick. It’s a crowd favorite for a reason!

Fresh Green Salad with Toppings & Dressings: For a lighter option, our fresh-cut green salad was filled with crisp greens and hearty chunks of cauliflower, broccoli and tomato. Guests could customize their salad with toppings like sweet dried cranberries, silvered almonds, sunflower seeds, and crunchy croutons, along with a full selection of dressings, including Thousand Island, Buttermilk Ranch, and more.

Nearby, our Beverage Tent kept everyone cool and refreshed with a wide variety of drinks, from ice-cold sodas to lemonade and water, ensuring everyone stayed hydrated as they enjoyed all the activities. The Funnel Cake Tent was a fan favorite, where guests lined up for fresh, hot funnel cakes topped with strawberries, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup. These deliciously sweet treats were the perfect indulgence during the picnic, adding a fun, nostalgic touch to the day.

Our Deluxe Field Day Games Package

​No company picnic is complete without our Deluxe Field Day Games Package, designed to bring high-energy, morale-boosting fun to every event. This interactive experience featured a custom stage with a digitally printed Extreme Zone backdrop, a high-energy entertainment host, and a variety of 15+ engaging games that kept employees and their families entertained. Guests competed in a cup stack challenge, team challenges, and skill-based contests, with winners earning prizes from two deluxe prize tables. With surround sound, a wireless mic for clear announcements, and safety flagging to define the game zone, this package delivered a seamless, exciting, and fully immersive field day experience!

​Joe Bolin brought nonstop energy and laughter to the Dick’s Sporting Goods company picnic as our entertainment host. On the mic all day, he kept the crowd engaged with his comedic style, quick wit, and high-energy announcements. Whether he was hyping up the field game competitions, calling out prize winners, or interacting with guests, Joe made sure the event stayed lively and exciting from start to finish. His presence added an extra layer of fun and professionalism, making the day even more memorable for employees and their families!

Fun Bouncers for the Kids

​The Dino World Play Land was a huge hit with the kids at the picnic! This vibrant inflatable play area featured dinosaur-themed obstacles, tunnels, and interactive elements that kept little adventurers entertained for hours. With plenty of room to jump, crawl, and explore, it provided a safe and exciting space for younger guests to enjoy while the rest of the picnic was in full swing. The Rocky Island Bouncer & Slide Combo brought thrills and excitement to the picnic with its dynamic climbing and sliding experience. Kids had a blast bouncing, scaling the rocky climb, and racing down the slide, all within this eye-catching inflatable. Designed for continuous fun and high-energy play, it was a must-visit attraction that kept guests entertained throughout the event. Its spacious layout and interactive design made it a perfect addition to the picnic, ensuring nonstop action for all the young adventurers!

Rocky Island Climbing Mountain

The Rocky Island Climbing Mountain took excitement to the next level with its dual slides for a race to the top and a thrilling descent! Guests challenged each other to climb to the peak and then raced down the slides, adding a competitive twist to the adventure. Perfect for friendly challenges and high-energy fun, this inflatable offered the best of both worlds—climbing and sliding—while keeping everyone entertained and engaged throughout the picnic!

Interactive Sports Zone – the Competition Heats Up!

​Given that this picnic was for Dick’s Sporting Goods, we made sure to create a high-energy Sports Zone packed with interactive fun! Guests jumped into the action with a thrilling axe throwing competition, tested their skills at dual hoop shot basketball, and enjoyed the 3-in-1 Sports Trio, featuring soccer kicking, baseball pitching, and football tossing. This dynamic area kept everyone on their toes, fostering friendly competition while offering something for every type of sports fan, making it one of the most popular spots at the event!

Cornhole Tournament for Employees

​The grassy area at Friendship Park proved to be the perfect setting for a high-energy cornhole tournament at the Dick's Sporting Goods picnic. With exciting prizes up for grabs, it became a fun, interactive team-building experience that encouraged friendly competition and brought everyone together. The spacious area allowed for smooth gameplay and kept participants engaged, making it a highlight of the event.

We even had a couple of dogs grace our presence, adding an extra dose of fun and charm to the event as they joined in on the festivities! 🐾
