We had the privilege of handling the company picnic planning at Exposition Park in Los Angeles for AHF, creating an all-inclusive experience that celebrated their employees. We provided our award-winning BBQ catering, our exclusive MEGA Casino, and a range of carnival games, interactive field games, rides, and attractions. With 700 guests, we meticulously crafted every detail—from custom event zones to seamless logistics—to deliver a socially-dynamic, high-energy event that left everyone with unforgettable memories.

Exposition Park Company Picnic Planning

The company picnic for AHF (Aids Healthcare Foundation) took place at Exposition Park in Los Angeles, specifically on the Expo Lawn - West. We expertly and strategically set up custom event zones throughout the picnic area to ensure smooth traffic flow and good throughput. Clear signage guided guests effortlessly to each zone, providing engaging casino and carnival style activities at every turn to entertain attendees of all ages.

Special Event Signs: Effortlessly Guided Guests to their Carnival-Casino Destination🎪 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️

Exposition Park is a large venue, so it was crucial to ensure guests were effortlessly guided to the picnic area. We achieved this with our custom A-frame signs, which are colorful and engaging, featuring the company name and event details while building excitement as guests approached.
For the Team AHF event, themed as a Carnival-Casino, the signage was vibrant and immersive, drawing guests in with anticipation as they got closer.

Welcome & Guest Registration

​Our Welcome Zone, as the name suggests, was designed to be immediately clear and inviting. With a custom tent, matching table cover, and prominent signage and flagging, guests at the Exposition Park company picnic had no trouble finding their way.

BBQ Picnic Catering Served Fresh ​🍖

Our catering for the AHF company picnic at Exposition Park featured a smokin' awesome menu that satisfied all tastes. Guests enjoyed low and slow smoked brisket, open flame grilled BBQ chicken, 4-cheese loaded mac and cheese with bacon, fresh cut fruit salad, 3 bean BBQ baked beans, and a mixed green garden veggie salad with a dressing and topping bar. For dessert, we served an assortment of gourmet cookies. Additionally, our custom tented "hot dog shack" offered all-beef hot dogs with deluxe condiments, ensuring there was something delicious for everyone.

Near the Fun Zone, we offered a variety of fun carnival foods like cool shaved ice with assorted flavors, ice cream novelties, and funnel cakes. With our expert team handling everything, guests enjoyed a seamless dining experience, indulging in top-notch food that perfectly complemented the vibrant atmosphere of the carnival-casino theme.

🎨 Fun Zone: A Hub of Creativity and Keepsakes 📸

​In the Fun Zone, we have our caricature artists, tattoo and face painting artists. It's located near the fun foods and photo booth, making it a vibrant area for all ages. This zone offers a mix of creative activities and tangible keepsakes, ensuring guests leave with lasting memories.​

Our photo booth, also located in the Fun Zone, is a great way for employees and families to capture treasured memories together. The vibrant carnival background provided a fantastic backdrop, and the props allowed guests to get really creative and silly, making it a fun-filled experience that everyone enjoyed and will remember fondly.

Creating a Carnival with Midway-Style Attractions 🎪🎡

​To craft a vibrant carnival atmosphere for the event, we incorporated a range of dynamic attractions that captured the essence of classic carnival fun. Our Deluxe Field Games with Sound created an energetic buzz, while the Rocky Island Obstacle Course and Log Jammer Slide brought thrilling inflatable adventures reminiscent of popular theme park rides. The Triple Lindy Slide dazzled with its bold carnival colors, adding a splash of excitement. The Boom Box Bouncer combined music and dancing for a lively experience, and the Free Fall provided an exhilarating jump-off for brave participants. The Sport Trio offered a carnival-style sports challenge, while the Hoop Shot Duo and Axe Throw engaged guests with competitive and interactive fun. Finally, the Reaction Attraction tested agility, rounding out a truly immersive carnival experience.

​The exclusive MEGA Casino at the AHF company picnic brought a top-tier casino experience with a range of familiar Vegas-style games on a MEGA scale. All the games are larger than life, featuring giant dice, oversized cards, and massive slots, making it a unique attraction exclusive to us. Perfect for company picnic casino parties, it's easy to set up and low-liability, as there's no real gambling involved. So, what happens in Exposition Park doesn’t have to stay in Exposition Park 😉​

MEGA Casino: Inclusive Vegas Style Games 🎰🎲

Guests are given a MEGA Casino compeitition card, on it are the ways to play and win, there is redemption ticket on there for each of the 6 attractions encouraging the guests to try them all.  Even if you don't know Vegas and gambling, the MEGA Casino put everyone on equal ground because all the games have a MEGA twist to them.  Players will win chips redemmable for big prizes at the MEGA Money table, it's all part of one larger than life casino company picnic package we created.

Interactive Carnival Game Area

Our Interactive Social Lounge offers a variety of table games, yard games, arcade games, and unique activities, creating a carnival-style atmosphere with a more relaxed and intimate vibe. This area is perfect for guests to enjoy quality time in pairs or smaller groups. Inside, you'll find Jumbo Jenga, Cornhole, ping pong, and exclusive games like Revolution, Strike Zone, and MEGA Wire.

​In addition to all the exciting entertainment, AHF wanted to add a special touch by hosting a raffle with big-ticket items to show their appreciation for the staff. A raffle at a company picnic is a fantastic way to send guests home with memorable keepsakes, adding a layer of excitement and anticipation. The cheers and celebration as colleagues win prizes make the event even more memorable and enjoyable for everyone involved.

Centrally Located Tables and Chairs 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 for an Inclusive Picnic Experience

​we used 35 of our premium table kits, each featuring 60-inch round tables with 9' market umbrellas for shade and eight comfortable folding chairs. This top-notch outdoor seating provided the best in comfort and style for company picnics. Strategically positioned in the heart of the event, these tables ensured that guests were always at the center of the action, allowing them to enjoy dining and socializing while remaining immersed in the lively atmosphere. This setup made everything visible and accessible, giving attendees a perfect vantage point to see and participate in all the exciting activities.

Event Essentials: Stages 🎤 Generators ⚡Restrooms and More for a Seamless Experience

For the AHF company picnic at Exposition Park in Los Angeles, we also provided a range of essential services to ensure a smooth and enjoyable event. This included two 4x8 basic stages for the raffle and performances, complemented by two additional speaker clusters for clear audio across the venue. We also supplied a 7-stall restroom trailer to ensure comfort for all guests and two dedicated trash techs to keep the area clean. Perimeter fencing was set up around the event space for safety and crowd control. Additionally, we provided four 9,000-watt generators to power all the rides and equipment. Our team also handled the logistics of securing the venue, including managing fees, permits, and paid parking reservations, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.
