Event Details Date: November 9, 2024 Time: Starting at 4:00 p.m. Location: Dillon Recreation Complex, APU’s East Campus, 901 E Alosta Ave, Azusa, CA 91702 How the Dillon Recreation Complex Was Arranged for APU's Night of ChampionsFrom above, you can see how much planning went into the field layout for APU’s Night of Champions in Azusa. The larger inflatable attractions were placed around the outside of the recreation complex, with seating through the center so students had room to eat, talk, and meet up between activities. This arrangement helped support the size of the event while giving each area its own clear place on the field. Interactive Kids Zone for Younger AttendeesThe Kids Zone was designed for younger guests attending APU's Night of Champions. By grouping attractions for similar age ranges, children had access to obstacle courses, slides, jumpers, playcenters, and interactive inflatables sized for their age group while older students explored the sports, field games, and teen activity areas throughout the event. Sports Challenges and Interactive CompetitionThe Sports Zone at this youth outreach event was a hub of energy, featuring a wide variety of sports activities that catered to participants of all ages. From precision-based challenges like soccer darts and axe throwing to action-packed games like human foosball and the Hoop Shot Duo, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Whether practicing soccer skills in the Playcenter Combo or competing in the new Sport Trio, guests could engage in friendly competition while enjoying a diverse mix of traditional and innovative sports experiences. This all-ages zone created an exciting space for athletic fun and connection. Passive Games The Teens LovedThe passive games area was perfect for guests looking for relaxed, low-pressure fun at this youth outreach event. This area attracted mature participants who enjoyed casual, skill-based activities like Giant Jenga, Mini Putt, and Picnic Ping Pong, offering opportunities for friendly competition without the high energy of the sports zone. With games like Corn Hole, the precision-focused Strikezone, and the challenging MEGA Wire, this space provided a mix of fun and focus, making it a favorite for those who prefer interactive but laid-back entertainment. Deluxe Field Games PacakgeThe Deluxe Field Games package brought an exciting, competitive edge to APU's 37th Night of Champions, offering a range of interactive games that encouraged teamwork and friendly rivalry. Featuring custom games, a vibrant backdrop, and an experienced host, the field games zone created an atmosphere of energy and camaraderie. Participants competed for medals in challenges, with the event also offering prize tables, a custom stage, and a clear audio setup to announce winners, adding to the excitement and impact of the event.
