How We Planned, Staffed, and Delivered a 2000 Guest 4th of July Celebration for the City of Ontario 2026

Every year, our team handles the community event planning for the City of Ontario's 4th of July Celebration at West Wind Park, and 2026 was no exception. Families filled the field for an evening of inflatable games, obstacle courses, and larger than life slides, all staffed by our own trained operators from open to close. An airbrush artist added red, white, and blue flair to faces and shirts, while the Fun Shack tent kept a steady line of kids trading in for glow gear and balloon swords well after sunset. It shows in the games, the energy, and the small details most guests never think twice about because everything simply worked. Here's a closer look at what we brought to life for the City of Ontario this year.

​Guests Kept Climbing Back for the Ninja Rush and Triple Lindy Slide

Standing tall over the rest of the field, the Ninja Rush Obstacle Course and Triple Lindy Slide drew a steady line of climbers all night. Guests scaled the middle climbing wall on the Ninja Rush before racing down one of two lanes on either side, while the Triple Lindy Slide let guests climb the side ladder and choose from three lanes down. Both pieces kept a high throughput of guests moving through all evening, which made them a strong fit for a crowd this size, guests could race a friend or another community member down the lanes, then head straight back up for another round without much of a wait. Towering over the rest of the field, they also gave the whole event a bigger, more impressive presence, the kind of visual that pulled guests in from across the park just to see what the excitement was about.

The Reaction Attraction and Zombie Tap Challenge Bring Fast Paced Competition

​Two of the night's most competitive games came down to speed and reflexes. The Reaction Attraction challenged guests to hit lit up targets before they changed, while the Zombie Tap Challenge turned the same idea into a doctors versus zombies showdown inside a 30 by 30 arena, with every hit tracked electronically as the score shifted back and forth. At West Wind Park, both games pulled in kids, tweens, teens, and adults, with more than a few friendly rivalries breaking out between family members and friend groups. Fast paced and easy to jump into, they kept a steady rotation of guests competing well into the evening.

Guests didn't have to wait long to find something to compete at. The Sport Trio kept a steady rotation of kids and adults testing their arm and their aim, firing fastballs, tossing footballs, and lining up penalty kicks against a trio of larger than life targets. A few steps away, the digital Dodge Ball game pulled in small groups at a time, daring them to hit their targets before time ran out. And for anyone who wanted a quieter kind of competition, the dual lane Skee Ball setup stayed busy well into the evening, with plenty of friendly trash talk between rounds.

Airbrush Face and Body Art Added Patriotic Color to the Celebration

Set up together near the ball fields, the Fun Shack and airbrush artist rounded out the night with something the games and slides couldn't offer, a physical takeaway. Kids and adults left with balloon animals, glow swords, and custom airbrush designs on their faces and arms, giving families a tangible piece of the celebration to carry home instead of just a memory. For guests who weren't chasing a high score or climbing a slide, it gave them a reason to still walk away with something worth showing off, and it meant every guest, regardless of age or energy level, had an experience built for them.
