We had the privilege of putting together a very affordable company picnic package at El Dorado Park in Long Beach for WATG that included our award-winning onsite catering with Angus burgers and all-beef hot dogs, team-building field games led by our high-energy game leader, and fun activities like a bounce house for the kids, along with cornhole and ping pong for the adults. Guests were greeted at our custom Welcome Zone with goodie bags, setting the stage for an interactive and enjoyable day.

Sycamore Grove Picnic Shelter in El Dorado Park, Long Beach

The WATG company picnic took place in the "Sycamore Grove" picnic area at El Dorado Park in Long Beach. This is one of the smaller event spaces within the park, with a maximum capacity of 250 people. For this picnic, with 150 attendees, we didn't need to use the entire space. To keep everything functional and close together, we zoned off an area with safety flagging, creating a more intimate picnic setting within the larger picnic area.

As you can see from the aerial view, this layout brings everyone closer, making the event more interactive while ensuring all activities and amenities are within easy reach. By focusing on this strategic setup, we created a connected and engaging atmosphere. Our field day games package at El Dorado Park was a huge hit with the 150 guests from WATG! The package featured an exciting, entertaining host who drew participants into the fun, overseeing all the unique games in our collection. With a custom stage providing a dynamic backdrop and photo opportunities, two prize tables adding an extra incentive, and surround sound with a wireless mic for clear announcements, the setup created a high-energy, immersive experience. Safety flagging ensured everyone stayed within the game area, making the entire day both thrilling and secure.

We served up juicy 1/3 lb Angus burgers and 100% all-beef hot dogs, along with our most popular side dishes; 3-bean baked beans, a fresh coleslaw mix, and a crisp veggie salad. The matching beverage bar, featuring self-serve lemonade, sweet tea, and cold filtered water, kept everyone refreshed throughout the day. The delicious food and excellent presentation were well-received by everyone.
